Need Help With Trip To Okeechobee

Featured Replies

Work has been slow so im planning on taking off this weekend to put in a couple days of fishing in @ okeechobee,

hows the weather there right now, the forecast said 30km/h winds, this isnt a trip ive made before or can make frequently I want to have a good time and get on some fish. I was thinking of using a Roland martin marina guide service and find a local motel for accomadations, anyone have any suggestions or reports on whether now is a good time to come, or which guide to use? by now I mean as early as tomorrow morning and stay over the weekend. Thanks

well it has been raining this way in okeechobee broward county fl. if thats what your asking.

Not to discourage you, but I couldn't imagine a worse time to come here. The FLW is underway, so I imagine local accomodations are pretty much out of the question. And with 20-30 MPH north winds and ~300 tournament anglers, the fishing is not going ot be the most pleasant, either.
