I see all these perty reels that Id like to possibly purchase and they are RH only or in one gear ratio. I think I may have to use RH reels also I can get what I want. Anyone else feel this way at times?

I could buy the new carbonlite in 5,6 and 7 in RH but only 6 in LH...Id have to buy different models to get all 3 ratios but that defeats the purpose of why I wanted them. Looks at Lew's and same thing, next company,,same thing....*cries*

I agree I think they should make them more readily available but the market for right handers is way bigger so they stick with that.

It's a right hander's world. I am surprised there are as many left handed reels as there are. My first reel was a Zebco 33 and every reel that I have ever had has been a righty. I couldn't get used to reeling left handed reel if you paid me to learn and btw, I am left handed.

John, do you cast with your left hand though? I too feel the same way. I won't buy righty reels though.

LH Retrieve is a requirement for me. Fortunately (or not), I'm not sophisticated enough to want a variety of gear ratios.

I just made a decision to go with Revo SX LH... the only ones I could find where 7.1:1 and to be honest I haven't found a disadvantage to the ratio... I can always slow down my turning speed should I want to go slower.

Yeah I wanted the new Exo but it only comes RH so I'll either get a smoke or just fish the other LH reels I have and only ratio I'm missing is a 5.x:1 cranking ratio but it's not high on my list of reel wants at this time.

I am a big fan of the PQ reels for several reasons, including this one.
