Did anyone ever get the information about the secret spot near East Point? I have a pretty good idea but I'd like confirmation.  I realize this thread is really old.

Hello folks!

I’m interested in this post too due to an incoming visit during this august to Alpharetta.

Any good fishing spot would be much appreciated!

And any fishing buddy too!

I took a trip to the Twin Lakes area, but I could never locate a place to park or insure that it was ok to fish.

If you`re on the westside of Atlanta, a good place to go is sweetwater creek state park in Douglasville. It has a 215 acre reservoir. There's always people there fishing. It costs $5 to park.
