Power Pro Super 8 Slick

Featured Replies

Surprised I have seen much feed back on the new PP. Anybody used it ?

It is absolutely wonderful for the first couple of weeks....it breaks down fast and begins to fray after that....I have used several spools of it thinking maybe I just got a bad batch, but it is the same story every time...back to the regular Power Pro for me...

Thanks for asking the Q, jignfule, and Mark J for the answer. I almost bought a spool, but hesitated and stuck with my regular PP instead. Like to know if others can confirm the fraying/break-down issues.

I've used PowerPro for years and wanted to start using the new SuperSlick. I was looking around today and read a bunch of user reviews which has dampened my interest. Like Mark and Darren, I'll stick with the regular until and if something changes.

Huh, I've had good luck with S8S, and I hate braid to a T. The S8S is right up there with Kanzen in my book, and Kanzen is the best there is.
