Memphis Area Guys....i Have A Question About What Seems To Be A Private Lake

hey guys i drive through fayette county every now and then...and when im driving east on hwy 64 i noticed a lake on rightside.... i cant remember if it is in oakland or somerville but yall get the idea of the area i am talkin about...can yall give me any idea if this is a club ..if so what club is it..any members out there...

It is a private club, with what used to be a LONG wait list. My father and I (15 yrs ago), just pulled in and started fishing. They ran us off with a quickness!

do you know any good bass clubs like that ...that are just a big pond/ small lake....i want to find one ...i am considering getting into kayak fishing and would like to find something like that ...

It's Glengary Lake. One of my best fish came out of there on an orange walmart special crankbait. It is private, and they will enforce the privacy part of it. I used to go to church about 100 yds from there, and my parents live about 2 miles away. I passed it every day on my way to school and thought about fishing it every.single.day.

I don't; there was a huge waiting list to join when I was younger. Your best chance would be to stop by and ask nicely, maybe while carrying cash, liquor, and/or baked goods.
