Southern New Hampsire Ice Out Reports ????

Featured Replies

With the warmer temps this week I pulled my tracker out to prepare for some fishing. So are there any lakes and ponds without ice ? I am particulary interested in Kingston lake and Pawtuckaway Lake.

Thanks everyone

Steve, I'm in Windham and the 2 lakes here have been iced out for a couple of weeks. I'm going Sunday for my first cast of the season.

Thanks deaknh03 good luck sunday.

been fishing in ma for 2 weeks slow start but catching a few

Most bodies of water down here are iced out. Went out on Potanipo and Rocky Pond today. Surprisingly, Potanipo has some ice on the left side of the pond, but extends only 10ft off of shore, rest is open. It's been slow, but caught a few so far. Good luck!

NIce job bassmaster!! Most water over here is open as well.

Hey thanks Matt

Been out a couple of times already. Buddy caught a nice 4lb pig on Baboosic Lake two weeks ago. We went to Beaver Lake in Derry last week and it was pretty slow. Two perch and one pic. Slow fishing indeed. Hoping with the warm weather things will start picking up. Watch out in Pawtuckaway. Went there once last year and had a rough go. Navigating is also a challenge. Lot's of rocks...shallows. Good luck...tight lines. Hoping to hit Canobie this weekend.

Anyone hit up Robinson pond in Hudson or Horseshoe pond in Merrimack yet?

Got my first bass of the year yesterday. Only about 10 inches, but it was nice to catch something. Between the 80+ degree weather this week and the full moon comming in 2 and a half weeks, anyone think that combo will get the spawn started really early this year?

I'm pretty sure Pawtuckaway is open now. I don't think there will be any ice left after Thursday

I checked out Swains in Barrington the other day water hitting 48
