Weird

Went out to the lake today and the water temps were 66 in most places we fished and 58 in others. Seen alot of shallow fish in 2 feet or less in a big cove but only hooked one in over an hour and a half so we moved and fished a bluff wall that was 12 feet throwing a 1/2 ounce jog and that's we pulled 6 fat females from this area. Just couldent get that shallow bite

Sounds like you've got some pre-spawn females staged up off the spawning grounds. Forget those shallow fish. Don't fight the bite...go back out to the ledge and jig up some hawgs!

That's definitely what it sounds like to me too
