  7. Congratulations!!! It's always a great feeling to catch a fish that you've long been after.
  8. What kind of combo did you lose?
  9. I've caught a lot of different species while fishing for bass, and they're pretty similar to what everybody's been posting. I've caught: bluegills, crappies, freshwater drum, muskies, rock bass, warmouths, green sunfish, channel cats, flatheads, hybrid stripers, and probably some others that I'm forgetting about.
  10. Sounds like your on em', good luck in your tournament!
  11. Sorry to hear about your misfortune, but unfortunately those days happen on the water. Good luck, I hope you get your rod back.
  12. Mine is somewhere between 50 and 55, and it was a combination of largemouth and smallmouth.
  13. Congrats, sounds like a great day of fishing!
  14. That's a giant all right, I wouldn't expect anything less from Big-O.
  15. I'm glad that pond X is back! hopefully it doesn't take too long to return to its prime so that you can start showing off all of those lunkers you used to catch again
  16. That's a might fish, congrats!
  17. I remember your posts about pond X, I'm glad that it's going to be restocked. Hopefully the numbers and size return quickly, keep us posted!
  18. Couldn't have said it better myself, congrats Big-O
  19. I'm not sure how the weather in Florida has been lately, but if it's anything like it's been here the bass are probably already acting like it's July because the temperatures have been abnormally warm. Assuming that this situation is applicable to you, look for any part of the shoreline that starts out shallow and then drops off into deeper water. Also look for any type of structure that may be in deeper water, and if you can't see any move your bait along the bottom until you find some, and then make repeated casts to it. I suggest fishing this pattern during the warmer part of the day, in the morning the fish should still be shallow and I would suggest fishing with a swim jig.
  20. An absolute giant, congrats on another great fish
  21. Nice job, sounds like a good time
  22. Great fish! Keep up the good work with those swimbaits
