Yep, she's post spawn, plenty healthy and caught her in 14' or so. I've been finding fish from super skinny to butterball fat recently and sure it's all about their feeding habits and/or overall health. Surface temps from mid to high 80's and all are spawned out. My favorite time of year!

BTW, using 25lb Vicious ProElite fluoro in these clear conditions and it's GOOD STUFF!

Big O with a bug eyed slaunch! It's every week, Dude. Like Rangerphil said, you ARE livin' the Dream!

Big O, you think you ever catch the same female lol

another giant! everyone including myself is running out of things to say when you post fish like this. so i'll just say congratulations. :respect-059: you have singlehandedly skewed the perspective of this entire board about what a big bass really looks like.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate your comments for sure!!! And Paul, you know me well having visited my home and family as well as shared a boat with me for a couple of days... I'm just an old guy who's blessed to live in the best state around to chase the bigguns... so I DO ;) I've recently found a groove that is working well and just today, landed a 14.20 while fishing with one of my life long buddy's who is in his mid 70's! He hadn't been on the water for some time, so I carried him out and even got to watch him stroke one that weighed 10.23. He just about pee'd his pants with excitement! Life is GOOD and I'm fortunate to witness some wonderful things along the way...

Thanks Again to all of you and I'll try to get some photos of my old friend Burl posted up soon!

Awesome pic Big-O! Rage Tail products have recently become my go to plastics at my favorite spots. My favorite is the Rage Craw in the "Bama Craw" color. Rage Rigged of course. The Rage Toad in Green Pumpkin w/ Pearl Belly is great for lily pads and scum. And they just smell so good! :-)
