  2. 38 Super Fan I hope things pick up for you, hang in there
  3. Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm glad to know what I'm experiencing is typical of fall fishing. 5Bass your reply helps a lot. I to try to locate the shad as well when fishing in the fall, but your tip about using a spoon seems like it could be great at times.
  4. The bass will stay shallow as long as the bait fish do. Once the bait fish move out the bass will follow.
  5. The fishing for me this fall has either been red hot or very slow. The bite has been changing often, one day they can't get enough of my baits and in the next day or two they seem to slow down a lot. There have been a lot of changing temperatures lately, but when the temperatures were steady the fishing seemed to do the same thing. I was just wondering if any of you guys are experiencing or have experienced this much change in fall fishing?
  6. An 18" crappie! That's a giant, congrats on a good outing

  8. I would definitely go pro if I had the opportunity. I already fish as much as possible and there's nothing I enjoy more than getting out on the water. Even as a career I don't think fishing would feel like work to me because I enjoy it so much.
  9. Great fish, congrats on your catch

  12. spinnerbaits, lipless cranks, texas rigged worms, and jigs
  13. What are the areas like that you have previously fished and done well at? In my experience when the temperature drops like this the fish will become a lot less active and they will have a much smaller strike zone. Try fishing closely to any type of structure with something that sinks slowly (like a 1/4oz jig or a weightless plastic) and be sure to make multiple casts to the same piece of structure because a different angle can make a world of difference when the fish aren't active. Also be sure to slow down your presentation. Hope this helps.
