  4. Wow that's a fish of a lifetime!
  5. This time of year I have the best luck with wacky rigged worms, they work during the spawn and during post-spawn as well. Good luck to you.
  6. WTG Dwight!! All of those fish are hawgs
  7. I agree with what everyone else said, throw a jig
  8. Heck of a day, nice job
  9. Sorry to hear that man, hopefully it will be back to what it was one day
  10. It's hard to tell with no measurements but I'd say anywhere between 5 and 7 lbs.
  11. Wow that's definitely one heck of an outing, nice job!
  12. I live in central Illinois, and I fished a lake this past saturday when the nasty weather moved in. I thought the fish might move deeper, but they were still holding in 5-6 feet of water. I know there have been a few more days since then that have been cold as well, but I'm assuming they were close to spawn here and if that is true they still might be fairly shallow. I would start by fishing shallow and if nothing seems to be going on I'd look for a deeper pattern.
  13. My buddy and I just had our first tournament of the year and we didn't fair too well, but the conditions were tough for ours as well. Glad you were able to boat two nice ones and take home the victory. Congrats!
  14. Nice work, and good luck to you in your upcoming tournament
  15. Part of it could be the hooks, part of it could be technique but I tend to lose more fish when I'm fishing lipless crankbaits as well. I'm not sure exactly why this is.
  16. Nice job man, sounds like a great lunch break to me
  17. Congrats on the boat, and way to get on them
  18. Incredible! What were they hitting on?
  19. Shouldn't this be the opposite way around? As for me I enjoy both aspects.
  20. Very nice, you guys are on em' for sure
  21. lipless cranks, spinnerbaits, and jigs
  22. I really like spro and mad maxx frogs for vegetation fishing
  23. I have that problem now trying to hit the 7 lb mark. I've caught quite a few 5 and 6 lbers also but I hope to finally hit the 7 lb mark this year. I'm glad you were able to finally break through to the next level. Great fish and I hope there are more to come.
  24. That's awesome you guys really sleighed them! Nice going
