Diascund Reservoir

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I found this forum and never left lol. I think what the members do here is fantastic and invaluable to the fishing community. I felt so strongly about it that I made a profile and am here to stay :) Now for my question: I frequent alot of lakes and reservoirs between Richmond and VA Beach, but for whatever reason I have never fished Diascund. My friend and I are planning a trip soon and wondered if anyone had suggestions on which parts of the lake are more successful. I'm just trying to eliminate water, 1000 acres with just a trolling motor could make for an interesting day.

Thanks for the help!

I appreciate the site Kaotic, I'll definately check it out. I'm thinking I might just have to wing it. The bathymetry looks crazy with sand bars and shallow spots in the middle of the lake. I will be throwing alot of search lures lol.

Don't hesitate to throw and drag a jig. Cranks will definitely put you on some fish.
