Mann's 12" Jelly Worm

Featured Replies

Hi, I was just wondering how quick does the scent on these baits go away? Like how often do I have to replace it with another worm? Or will the bass still strike it even though the scent has worn off it? Reason is first cast the other day I reeled in a 5#, is the worm I still have on there effective or should it be replaced with a fresh one, don't want to go through them too quick. Thanks for your knowledge.

You will get different responses to this question, but I don't worry too much about scents fading from soft plastics(or scents in general). I would use the worm until it is too torn up to stay on the hook.

Yep,I agree it will catch fish as long as the worm does not tare up. Don't worry about the sent as much as the action and the color of the worm. The Jelly worm are great and have been around a long time!

That's right, keep using it until it tears. By the way, the tails on those Jelly Worms make good jig trailers.
