Anyone Fish Lox Or Sawgrass This Weekend?

Featured Replies

I have not fished Lox in a month or so and it has been longer than that for Sawgrass Park. Going tuesday to one or the other and would like to know if they are going off.

This time last year, Lox was smoking hot. I can't see why it would not be be fishy this year.

I went out last Saturday(one week ago) from 3-6pm at the Lox road ramp. It was NE windy, and the bass were not cooperating. The water is up a little, no issues, the hydrilla is minimal.

I was just fun fishing with a friend from out of town. Frogs, EZ's, trick worms. 0 bass or bites.

The beginning of the month we did ok at Lox. You saw my thread an pics I think. We went out today and not a bite from our canoe or land. Keep in mind we are newbs so it doesn't take much to impress us yet and don't have a boat lol.

Sent you a text message :eyebrows:

Went to Lox north end this morning. Got to the ramp at 6:00 am. Got tore up by mosquitos.

Fished about 1/4 mile north of the ramp with no luck.

Went south to the pump station and drifted with the wind back north. Hooked up about 6 bass in the 2-4 lb range and 1 large crappy.

Fished top water poppers and pumkin seed flukes.

Wind was kickin! Great mornng otherwise.

Fished Lox south today..nothing to brag about. All dinks but there are fish on the flats and trails. Heades south tomorrow

Hey Shane...although I haven't been to LOX since I left South Florida in early March, just got a report from Capt. Don today. Fishing LOX south end they nailed over 100 on Friday and another 57 yesterday. He caught most on wacky rig trick worms and t-rigged culprit's. Hopefully you should do well there tomorrow. I'm headed to the Northeast next week for those Yankee spawner's. Keep those U-tube video's comming!...Good luck.
