Im looking at a Abu Garcia Revo Winch for cranking. Is the 5,4:1 a good ratio for a crankbait reel?

I just recently bought the winch...its a pretty awesome reel.

I noticed there are some differences in how many inches per turn there is for a 5.4:1 gear ratio.

I think the Winch is about 20" per turn??

Anyways it works great for me. Super smooth, great drag.

I'm hyper, the 5.4 helps me slow down a bit, but the power of the winch is great

A 5.(something) is what i like to use for crank baits and spinner baits. I think you'll like the winch, its the reel that will go on my next crankbait rod.
