I've been going to pickwick for a few year now and fishing mainly from seven mile island to the dam and NEVER caught a smallmouth. Can someone please give me some give me some helpful information to help me out?

Shakey head!! I catch a lot of smallmouth at pickwick on shakey head with gary yamoto stick bait black and blue or watermelon

The front of Seven mile Island, the gravel bank immediately outsid McFarland, everything that looks interesting to you within
a mile from the dam. However, STAY AWAY from the inside of the concrete dividing wall.

When u say stay away from the inside of the concrete wall are u talking about the blowout of the lock?

I think that is correct, but I have never actually gone over there because all of my friends
say "stay away". We have seen several boats centered on boulders and a few destroying
their lower units. You need to do your homework and be VERY CAREFUL below the Wilson
Dam.
