Not that I'm complaining that I caught 2 overslot snook this morning, probably about 36" each, maybe 15-18#. First one hit my bucktail and took me into the inlet current, managed to pull it around to the beach side and I was able to get it close to the beach, I then hopped over the railing and pulled it on to the beach. Second one was a lot easier, someone had a pier net.
Now I'm looking at guy landing a 20#+ Jack Crevelle and I was in awe, he climbed over several rock jetties to land ( I've done the same thing myself many times).........nothing like catching a big ultimate warrior. I was jealous.......lol, he had the better fish.
I can teach you all you need to know, but I'll never teach you......ALL I KNOW !

Stu,
You ARE living it up, bro. Two over slot Snook are awesone, way to go :bravo-009: . The JC is a heck of a fighter, especially on light gear and will wear your ars out, as you well know.

Don't sell yourself short though. You ain't no spring chicken and either of those fish will give the youngest of hard core anglers a run for their money. ;)

And PLEASE be careful climbing down to retrieve your fish. I don't think our marine unit is operational that early in the morning to come fish ur ars outta the drink. :roflmao1:
