I have a guy trying to buy my boat. I don't even got it up for sell. But he came by and asked about it then brought his wife by then his son to look at it talking about that's what he looking for the right size and everything. I do want to upgrade but I had this plan of getting it paid off this year and put more money back then get one about three year from now. But this guy seem really into it. So i mite get a good price from him but not sure what be a good price for it. But its a 2005 nitro 882 nx dc with a 150 mercury. I have a humminbird 878 side imagining on the console and then the little lowrance that came with it on the bow. Still a pretty clean boat a few rips in the sit run good every thing. My cousin bought it new in 2005 keep in garage I bought it in 2010 keep under car port with cover on it I don't know how many hours it has on it but I would say a lot I fish a lot in it. I owe around $8000 on it I paid $14000 for but it came with a lot of good fish gear. Like 10 baitcasting real 5 spinning real and just a ton of tackle which I'm keeping. I put the humminbird on it which well stay. Just wondering a good price on it. I want it to be on the high end because I really don't want to sell it he came to me. But I would like to upgrade to bigger boat. Was just planning to do it later down the road. DSC00056.JPG DSC00056.JPG

Look it up in the NADA guides. That will give you a ball park number to start.

Whoa....don't be pressured into a move you aren't prepared to make. You have a very nice boat that you use all the time......Think this one out.

Nice boat, it runs good and you know how it handles and everything about it. Keep it!
I always catch a limit in practice!

I gave $14000 for it in 2010 which was what my cousin owe on it. And i owe $8000 on it now. And I'm thinking about it that why I going ask a high price so if he dont pay it Im still happy but if he does I will make money off it. And get a nicer boat. Really the one thing I really dont like about my boat it don't have a built in cooler in it. I know that sounds dumb but some days when i trip over my cooler trying to land a fish I want to get a bigger boat.

NADA gives it an average retail of about 10,500 not including your SI. From your pics it looks real clean.

Ask 14K for it and don't budge. You don't have to get rid of it.

If you have rear compartments, empty one and place a cooler in it. Or, make a cooler out of it. Get a sheet of inch thick styrofoam at your local home center and cut pieces to line it. Stick em in place with a few dabs of silicone adhesive, then put a bead of silicone at all the corners where the pieces meet. You can put a drain with a plug in it if you want. When you're done fishing pull the plug on your new cooler and pull the plug on the transom. The water will drain into your bilge and out the drain plug at the stern.

I'm in the process of skinnying down the stuff I carry with me. I'm going to remove about 80% of the baits I currently carry. When done, I'll probably gain 3 or more mph at top end, which is not that important to me. But, I'll be toting less weight and burning less fuel per mile, which is important.

If you have a live well(s), and don't use it/them for their intended purpose, throw your drinks, grub, and ice in there. They are already plumbed for draining.
Regards, Tom

i agree with most of what every one said your boat is hott. id keep it if i were you you know how it runs and etc. its beautifull and just like rhino said make an empty compartment a cooler or get a faom cooler almost the same size of compartment an there you go... i like your boat if i stayed by you ill make you wanna keep it by making sure a cooler gets built in it.. KEEP IT! YOU CAN ALWAYS GET A BIGGER BOAT LATER AFTER YOUR DONE ENJOYING THE WAY THIS ONE TREATS YOU!

So im going tell that guy I'm not selling. Unless he put a large amount if cash in front of me. I well look in to that cooler ideal I have used my live well before when I don't use it. Thanks again everyone!

Its nature... As men we always want to upgrade.. Sometimes we just need to take a step back and enjoy what we have.
