I have the Bass Pro Pro Qualifier in 6.4.1 with 10 pound mono and a Quantum 7.01. KVD burner with 12 pound mono...both baitcasters.

I have bought a Vendetta 7' Medium for the 6.4.1 and for the 7.0.1 I have another Vendetta 7' Medium AND a Veritas 7' Medium Heavy...which of these rods would you put on which reels?

Also, what would you use each set up for? I know the 6.4.1 is "versatile" and the 7.0.1 is for faster things like buzzbaits...

I am looking for not only what rod to put on which reel but also for the best applications for each rod/reel.

What kind of fishing do you do?

You can use the med..6.4 for almost everything honestly, buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, worms, shallow cranking, senkos, flukes, etc. Id probably put 12lb mono on that setup rather than the 10. That rod is more like a m/h in other rods also

Id put the 7 ratio reel on the mh veritas with braid and use it for jigs/frogs/flipping and pitching/ burning lipless cranks....attach a leader if you want. m/h is more like a heavy

it would give you more variety

I agree 100% I passed on the Veritas MH for now. It was really stiff for what I wanted. I think its closer to a H.

I have a 7' M Vendetta, those things aare stiff, to me its like a MH. I have my 50E on it with 12# YoZuri, and its got some backbone to do just about anything.

I got a 7'M for a spinning rod, this beast has next to no whip in it. I use it for finesse, light small cranks, and small top water.

I actually love the rod, I have pulled a few 3+ lbers into and out of serious cabbage and was not worried about the rod snapping, so far no complaints from me other than being somewhat tip heavy but not a big deal.
