I have only used the Dobyns Savvy so can only comment on them but love it. I have a SS734C for jigs.
Liked this one so much a month later got a 765CB glass crankbait rod. This one is in the Champion line because the Savvy doesn't have a crankbait rod option.

I've only fished one LTA and didn't care for it, more the size than anything, 6'10"MH, handle was too short for me. I have 2 Savvys and 2 Powells and like the savvy just a bit better. Balance a tad better and feel slightly lighter. Either of the two are great rods and the Powell is a little cheaper.

I have not had a chance to handle a Dobyns spinning rod. Is the handle as comfortable as it looks?
