Rapala all the way.......6lb test....water level was 3' higher then normal. Caught this one in 4' of water....Me and the PickerelPiney went the next day and i battled a tiger muskee....unfortuneatly he caught some air and spit the rapala out.

A 4-5 lb largemouth on 6 lb test is alot of fun. What kind of line and rod/reel set up?

Shimano graphite 6'6"....with penn 4300SS, 6lb clear stren......3" rapala 2-3' depth shad color... went today raining with fog 50yard visability didnt catch a thing...going to NY state next weekend for salmon. Then its off for muskeee....caught this one yesterday..

do you live in southern jersey. And fomr the persepective of another nj fisherman do you think a small pond is worth fishing or done for the year???

Syfer- again, we are about 3 hrs NORTH of you and we still have a decent bite. No need to stop till the ice forces you to. It's a comfort thing from now until the ice is in.
Plus, look back in this section and you'll notice that swampanimal here just caught one yesterday too!!

I just did my video saying "Farewell" to '06 but the current weather pattern may have us out there again wed. if we can finagle the time from work.

Nice looking fish...as long as they are biting, its always a good time to fish.
