There is no point in being pessimistic, it doesn't work anyway.

South Florida, FSU will be back real soon.
Right now it is FSU and Virginia Tech as the top teams with Clepson and Georgia Tech being the closest also rans.
I can see Dumbo getting FSU back into the fight for the BCS Championship within two seasons.
After all, FSU is in the ACC and not the SEC. (Couldn't help myself)

As we all know SEC football is extremely competitive with the likes of LSU, Alabama, Florida, and Auburn as of late, but as we all know what goes up must come down. I can see USC, Florida State, and even Pac-12 contenders in the near future. Problem with the SEC is that the teams can literally shoot themselves down on the way to the coveted BCS Championship, given other BCS conference standouts a chance to be ranked number 1 at the end fo the season.
As a side note, FSU moved up the recruiting rankings literally overnight landing some more top recruits that did not commit this Wednesday! Yes, Alabama has the number 1 ranked class, but FSU had less recruits and higher quality, although subjective. This brings up a question to Alabama fans, how the heck does Saban have some many recruits sign, didn't he oversigning last year and then in has Saban way dumped players to medical scholarships or/and forced their hand to transfer to make room? Classy, right!
So as far as recruiting classes rankings go FSU and Alabama did a flip from 1 to 2 and 2 to 1 in 2011 and 2012 seasons. Now let's see if FSU can actually, but subjective rankings to good use like Satan!
Go Noles, Scalp'em!

I'm with you on this one. I love hearing the lip service the NCAA plays about "looking out for the best interests of the kids", but also allowing this oversigning, grayshirting and medical hardship crap go on in one certain conference.

You can only sign 25 players from high school. Two players from JUCO were signed. The JUCO players will not count towards 25 caps. Not to mention one of the players that enrolled right now, he originally signed in 2010 and is allowed be count as part of that class. He had go to JUCO get his grades back up or whatever then transfer back to Alabama. If you want talk about major over-signing in the SEC, take a look at Ole Miss last year. There was a statistic showing the last few years about average amount of over-signing in the SEC, and Alabama is actually ranked 4th or 5th on that list.
There is no point in being pessimistic, it doesn't work anyway.

U of MN Gophers with 2nd year coach Jerry Kill Landed most of the better talent in Minnesotas recruiting class. In the past, most of our high profile recruits left the state.
Its a start for a horrible football program.

The problem is two years from now half of these kids will not be at the school that recruited them or they will not be in school at all. It looks good on paper but if you rate these classes 4 years later when they are supposed to be seniors everything changes. There are too many intangibles to get fired up over these ratings.
keep it simple.....share your knowledge...... be honest
