The Live Target frog comes in 3 sizes and 8 color variations, which you probably already know but for the people that don't, I'm just putting it out there. What I like about this frog is that it is very durable, I can throw it in a mess of brush or vegetation and it won't tear or puncture. I usually cast it into the lillies and just walk it, but sometimes I'll burn it fast depending on where i'm fishing. I reccomend high visibility braid for this frog, 30-50lb test is perfect. I have had some problems with hook setting every once and a while but that's my problem, ( patience ). If I'm not mistaken the frog features a Gamakatsu frog hook so you'll hook the bass for sure. Overall this frog is very well built and it's highly reccomended by me and many other people, however the only thing I do not care for is that the rubber skirting can get annoying at times because they stick together after a while and can melt if you expose it to too much heat. The frog can also become faded and moldy, the colors won't be as vibrant so I reccomend cleaning it every 6 or so times you fish with it, only because mold and rust can form inside the frog and damage it from the inside out, you can put all your frogs in a bowl of hot water mixed with dawn dish soap & let em' soak and then rinse them off. Great Frog.

Personally, I haven't caught any more or any less fish on it compared to other frogs, but I do like the soft plastic - makes for easier hooksets.

It definately looks good topside, but the fish only see the bottom. I own a few, but at the price their going for, I think it catches more fisherman than fish compared to other designs. The fancy graphicwork is not seen by a bass, and that (along with it's mold) is what makes it so appealing, not it's remarkable abilities.

Agreed, I own the Evolve Species frog and it is by far better than Kopper's. I just decided to do a review on this frog because it's popular.

The above is simply not true unless a bass is directly underneath the lure looking up. Depending on the fish's position in relation to the bait a bass can view the sides of the bait as well as the bottom. Further, with the way the kopper's sits in the water and bobs underwater on the retrieve, a portion of the backside is visible underwater as well and is fully visible to fish.
So the detail is for more than just catching fishermen...

It's just a shame that they're dang near 10 bucks a pop when most of that is going towards the graphics.
