  1. Is Mend-it involved? You can do some pretty cool things with Mend-it.
  2. Nice report. So you like the bluegill tube?
  3. I have a few Rio Ricos that are black. A little pricey, but I love them.
  4. My three primaries: Green Pumpkin Watermelon Red Junebug and a very close 4th Black w/ blue flake
  5. Nice fish. I took some of my staff down to the canals last week. They had a blast. There were three fish caught at about 4lbs. Had to find the warm water. I did see a LM on the bed in the canal that was huge. She was laying eggs and not interested in anything thrown at her.
  6. Baits without inserts are slightly more costly, but worth the extra funds imo. I agree with the greater sensitivity when using tungsten w/o plastic inserts.
  7. Very good recommendation. They would be like fire insurance, hope you never have to use it, but thankful you had it if it does happen.
  8. I study revealed that the cleanest stool was the stool closest to the door as most people always head torwards the last stall.
  9. I like watching these shows, no matter where they are fishing when there is 6" of snow on my porch and 5" of ice on the lake. Sometimes they do go overboard on the promotion, but I am still thankful I can watch a fishing show in the middle of winter. We have filmed on El Salto a few times and each time, the bass seem to know the cameras are there. No ducks in a barrel on one of the best bass lakes in the world. 6 Days of filming to get less than 18 minutes of footage.
  10. The new Bill Lewis High Def Rat L Trap in the Natural Tilapia pattern is as close as I have seen for Falcon.
  11. Same color on a Norman DD22 does well in Mexico.
  12. Are you asking for hardbaits? A tilapia colored hardbait is not necessary on Falcon. A sexy shad or close colored crankbait is fine. I have some Tilapia cranks, but I just do not think you need to spend that amount of money on crankbaits for Falcon.
  13. Yes, they are called Gentle Giants. I think the largest on record for the breed was at 260.
  14. My wife is a dog trainer. For Christmas, I bought her a Newfoundland which she is eager to train in water rescue. I am sure that dog will spend a lot of time in the boat with us. Rather large dog and not for most people. He has put on 4 lbs a weeks since he has been part of the family. SHould top out at 150-175lbs. He is sitting here next to me as we speak, quite a beautiful dog!
  15. Should be a great show. We set our booth up this afternoon and there is a very positive atmosphere among the vendors. Please take the time to attack your cabin fever and visit the show. Stop by the El Grande lures booth and I can give you some updates on Mexican Bass Fishing along with up to date information on fishing in Brazil and South Africa.
