  1. 26,000 acres, water is anywhere from clear to staind, usually somewhere in the middle, early spring is spawn time. cover consist of flooded huisache, mesquite, coves, points, channels, road beds, flooded tank dams etc, etc.

  5. yep, my mistake. Thats a carbed 2 stroke johnson, a simple and reliable motor (i'm running one as well)
  6. im pretty sure the last year for the FICHT was 01 or 02. if its an 05 its likely an ETEC.
  7. i picked up a subscription off ebay for $4, so if i can keep getting it for that, it's worth it.
  8. I put a peice of non slip material (kind of like sandpaper) on my cavitation plate just for that reason - in case someone falls overboard. I've used it to hoist myself back on and i'm 235 lbs.

  10. Guys, I'm wondering if there is any interest here in starting a friendly club in the Martinsburg, WV area. Have 6 or 7 guys interested so far, and we'll be need non boaters as well as a few boaters.
  11. you'll be fine towing that. I tow a 2700 lb fiberglass rig with my 2001 s10 2.2 liter that i bought new, and it has 165,000 miles on it, with nothing more than front ball joints, timing chain at 100k, oil changes, and other routine maintenence. Even better if its a 5 speed, but if its an auto, before you think of towing with it, install an external transmission oil coiler, and tow it in drive, not overdrive.
