  1. The larger diameter line will interfere with the natural action of the lighter head- My rule of thumb is anything over 1/4 oz with a larger bait- -Baitcaster- 1/4 oz or lighter with a smaller bait like worm- -spinning rod w 6-8 lb test.
  2. What color is the big fish caught on in the middle of the day

  4. Don't listen to dock talk-Its all just talk- that black buzz bait will work any time day or night -PERIOD
  5. No one is going
  6. Let the fish dictate on weather to use a trailer hook or not.If the fish are slapping at the bait and not fully committing to it-then yes take advantage of the trailer hook-otherwise no trailer hooks for me-I USE TRAILER HOOKS WHEN IM FISHING A TOURNAMENT--When every fish counts- At times the trailer hook catches debris and acts like a rudder-pain in the butt- All depends on your mood and the fishes mood.
  7. Buy what you can afford but remember you get what you pay for. I have caught many bass on the dollar spinner baits as well. That's why I came up with the Strike Back.Best quality you can buy.Plus innovation to boot.

  19. Great review and thank you for the kind words Papa- One thing I must say-I did realize the amazing potential of this new spinner bait, It took me almost 3 years to get it right.Every time i go out and use it i find something different that sets it apart. When I try to tell everyone about it -people just say YEAH YEAH YEAH- a spinner bait is a spinner bait- as you can see its not true as you see. How do you like those blades under water-pretty cool huh LOL These spinner baits are definitely unique-not gimmick unique- functionally unique. Again these are made with the highest quality components available-all custom- Thank you again for the review-and the others -seriously -you must try them- Bobby@megastrike.com www.megastrike.com
  20. Like DDAY said -start reeling and lifting your rod tip right before it hits the water-DO NOT LET IT SINK--I cant tell you how many times I had gotten strikes as soon as it hit the water
  21. I agree with Blue-- I pop it as well and give it somewhat of an erratic retrieve. I believe it gets the attention of the bass and has it believe that another bass or fish missed the forage. They are opportunists and will investigate where the sound or commotion is coming from..OFTEN triggering strikes.
  22. In ultra clear water-this ghost minnow is my go to bait
