  1. RedFins are awesome for what your talking about they fit the profile and the action. I don't know if its one word or two, but I do know I have only found them at Wal-Mart. Their are long, jointed and look like a jerk bait. You will find them in a dump bin usually.
  2. Greeen pumpkin. I texas rig them, but throw them more on a carolina rig.
  3. When I wacky rig from shore I like the Zoom Trick Worms because I usually parallel the bank. The trick worm seems to not sink as fast as others.
  4. Your right all these baits are good and I have caught fish with the Minus and jerk baits that way. All im trying to say is it gives them something different to look at. Its different then any subsurface as far as profile and action. When it comes to fluorocarbon I don't see why it is a bad choice. The line has very low stretch, it is unseen under water, and if you have ever thrown segar then you would know the line is stronger than most mono. Also I have never heard or seen this Bagleys Bang O Lure. Is this lure common in most tackle stores? If you can place a picture of one I would appreciate it.
  5. I went fishing a few weeks ago and was throwing a spittin image on fluorocarbon line (segar). I knew it would be hard since the floro sank, but I didn't think it affect my presentation as much as it did. What happened was, after the lure hit the water I began to retrieve by walking the dog, but after about 8 feet it started to pull under the after each twitch. I messed around after a few more cast and found that if you let the bait sit there for a few seconds so you're line can sink then begin to jerk your, the bait will actually walk under the water. If you don't get any hits from this then stop the bait and it will pop up to the surface, then do it all over again for another 3 feet. I have only tried this with the pop n image made by Excalibur, but im sure it will work with others. Give it a try. Im sure you will like the action, and the fish should go wild. Please let me know if anyone has tried this before, or if you try this after reading this. any and all feed back would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if anyone has tryed this befor, or if you try this after reading this. any and all feed back would be greatly apreciated
  6. You should give spiderwire XXX a try. This lines diameter is a bit thinner when it comes to normal line, so that should help with the limpness. It also has really low stretch for a mono. When it comes to floro all I use is segar, yeah its expensive but the low stretch give it so much sensitivity, its incredible. Its also unseen under water due to 100% floro. I use this for lots of my fishing, but stay away from top water when using this because the line sinks. Another good choice you can try is the SUFIX they came out with. This line is very smooth and really abrasion resistant., it handles great and has hardly any memory.
  7. I have had lots of buzz baits run right to lef for me as well The best thing you can do is just keep buyng diffent brands untill you find that one that runs true. Also, i have had real good luck on the double bladed buzz baits. I can work them a lot slower than a single blade, and i think thats why i catch more fish on them.
