What type of boat do you fish with? Speed Boat Type JonBoat Canoe Kayak Other(describe) None

Hey Everyone, Thanks for the advice on all this topic. I've tried the senkos and they didn't work. But i did find something that did work:HOT DOGS. I was fishing with some hot dogs going after some perch and bluegill. Then a couple bass started coming and looking at it. The bass then left and went to the side of the bank. So i tossed my hot dog out on the side of the bank and the bass came and started looking at it. I let it sink to the bottom and started twitching it. As i was reeling it in and twitching it while it was still on the ground the bass kept following it. Then with it 10 yards away from be the bass blew up on the hot dog. I then proceeded to reel it in. It was about a 3 pounder. I then caught 2 more bass using the same technique. One was about the same size and the other was about 1.5 pounds. But to everyone contributing thanx for the advice.

Anybody out there that makes and sells baits and lures online?? I was thinking about doing this and was wondering what i can expect from it.

Thanks for the advice i think i'll probably go with a jon boat. How much horsepower do you think i'll need for it to go at a decent pace???

There is this neighborhood pond in the neighborhood next to me that has a lot of good size bass 3-5 lbers (it also has a couple 30lb blue catfish in their but thats another story otherwise their dumb as heck). The neighborhood its in is pretty rich (everyone pretty much 100,000 or more) so people have a lot of time and the bass have seen everything i don't fall for anything. Let me know if you have anything that you go to in these circumstances.

Hi, I just joined this forum and i am looking for a beginer boat that would suit my purposes. I won't be fishing a lot just about 10-20 all day fishing trips. And about 20 fishing trips of a couple hours that i probably won't be using a boat for. I'll mostly be fishing for bass, perch, bluegill, catfish, and maybe a little trout and salmon.j I can spend only $1000 so i know that will limit me greatly on my choices. I was thinking that since my budget constraints i should just get a canoe and a trolling motor. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I would be mostly fishing on ponds, rivers(not large ones like the mississippi but a small or smaller one), and some lakes(Most likely not great lake size even though i live 3 hours away from great michigan). Thanks :-/
