I just got back into fishing since I was a kid.We live on Cape Cod and my daughter is 10.We went out fishing and caught some good size bass at coonamessett pond.My daughter pulled in a good size bass but the line snapped as I was lifting it in the boat.I noticed she was not really setting the hook that hard and one of the bass was gut hooked.She is a very intelligent and caring young girl.So as I was giving a example on setting the hook when I got a bite went to set the hook and snap my st croix rod snapped at the tip.The rod was 2 days old am I just out of luck or will the place were I bought it replace it or do I send it outto st croix or am I out a rod.thanks
