  2. First time using braid....need some advice

    I'm going to spool up with some braid for the first time for the upcoming season and needed some advice. I've purchased the Sufix Performace Braid 50 lb at the recommendation of some of you guys on here in various threads. I know I need to put a mono backing on the spool. Question is, can anyone tell me exactly how to do this correctly? Do I arbor knot the mono to the spool and albright or blood knot the mono and braid together? Tell me how you pros do it! Thanks!

    YUM 2" wooly beavertail either on a jighead or dropshot. Black with pink tail is my go to.

    Does anyone have any experience with these rods? I'm looking at a crankbait rod and a flipping rod, probably these model numbers: CCB-4-17MR (Crankbait) & CCB-6-174HC (Flipping). Any information would be appreciated! Thanks!
