  1. just wonderinng what hook size you guys use, if you use and weight , and if you use a bobber or not. and how do you tell if you get a but because its so suttle.
  2. i' ve tried rooster tails and panther martins before but i dont get any hits. how do you retrieve your inline spinners.
  3. i love fishing for bluegill because they put up a good fight for there size. ill be using a spinning rod. what typed of bait, artifical and live bait should i use. i have salmon eggs, rooster tails, panther martins, spoons, just wondering if any of these things would work.
  4. no im not in college yet. My family has a camp up there.
  5. im going fishing for trout this weekend at Spring Creek in Pa and other streams in that area. what size and color panther martins do you guys like.
  6. do you guys use swivels when you fish for trout. if you do for what .
  7. when you guys are trout fishing with spinning gear how do you know how much weight to put on and how far up the line do you put it. thanks.
  8. thanks everybody for the information but i have some questions. I went fishing yesterday and caught some trout but i keep getting hung up in rocks and had to cut my line alot. I was getting really tired of retying on hooks all the time. I go some spinners caught up and lost 2 panther martins and a rooster tail. What can i do to stop this from happening and make my fishing experience better. If felt like i was tying more than i was fishing.
  9. Pennsylvania's Southeast region trout season opens up this Saturday 8am. I can't wait. Anybody else live in PA and/or is going fishing Saturday.
  10. there are many things you can use. nightcrawlers, panther martins, rooster tails, and spoons just to name a few. for spoons i like little cleos. when fishing these cast them upstream and reel just fast enough to keep the line tight. this will allow the inline spinners to spin. these lures are fished on the bottom except for the little cleo which is a spoon and is fished medium depth. Hope this helps.
  11. March 29, i can't wait. what kind of worms did you use?
  12. what type of lures do you want to use. crankbaits, jigs, plastics, exc. You can get a different type rod/reel for each one of these.
  13. im using 4lb mono now but would you suggest i use flurocarbon and would that even be any better.
  14. anybody here fish for trout using spinning gear? If you do, what kind of lures do you use, rod/reel you use, and techniques?
