I have ther TR21x with a Mercury 250 XS I run 18psi water pressure at about 5700 RPM about 63 MPH I make runs up to 20-30 miles never had a lick of trouble water pressure is the key keep it above 15 psi and my manual says

Just me but if your going to buy new definatley go with the 42 or 48 inch bottom with 2 grown men in a 36 it is very unstable in rough or choppy water anytime someone move your are going to feel it. And congrats on the resources lucky lucky lucky

Its got to be a hard choise it was for me. I bought a Triton. The older ones were not as stable as the new ones I have a Tr 21x and love it. The reason I went with the Triton was the speed and overall look. I have a friend with a Ranger comanche and Mine is just as stable as his as far as room the are about the same. They are both good hulls. and fish about the same with all the same quality. eather one you choose will be a good choise and definatley go with the 21 more horsepower and your boat will never be to big

I just bouht my first bass boat it is a 2004 TRITON TR21X WITH A MERCURY 250 XS what should be top speed on this set up . Also does anyone know how to disable the trim limit while running. Mercury has a limit on the trim the most you can trim up is 1/4 while at cruseing speed

I had the same problem as you are haveing. but mine quit working on every trailer I had. Come to find out it was my truck I have a 2006 Dodge 3/4 ton 4x4. it was an electrical module blown . Dodge replaced it under warranty and no more problems after that. If i were you go to Lowes are your locale hardware store and get a electric tester they make one you can ground on your vechicle and just stick the point ont your wire if it light you have power move down the line untill you have no power. But start at the truck with no trailer hooked up test the truck then just your adapter then the trailer. hopefully its something very simple. GOOD LUCK
