  1. lol we need to locate this secret pond! We'd have to go in James Bond style though 8-)
  2. My favorite to fish blended with my most productive: Walking bait: Zara Puppy in white/red Topwater: Strike King Mini King 1/4 ounce buzzbait Crankbaits: Cotton Cordell Big O 2" in either chrome/black back or perch, Rat-L-Trap, Bomber Fat free shad, Mann minus series Jigs: PJ Lures Flip'n Jigs (pjlures . com) Spinnerbaits: Leverage and Terminator are tied here...if either of them offered more color/blade combos that one would win. Jerkbaits: Rapala Xrap Plastics: Zoom trick worm, Chompers spider grubs, Joe's Jig trailers(these are really great if you want to make jig fishing a bit more fun...website is Joesjigtrailers . com) Roadwarrior has me foaming at the mouth with his talk about Yamamoto Fat Ikas which I have yet to try, but if I'm half as successful as he is with them I'll be very pleased.
  3. I feel your pain on this one man...I'm a senior at Wash U and I have approximately zero free time for fishing. Regardless of having time or not, Busch Wildlife is awful and the good Missouri lakes are like four hours away :'( Thank goodness for spring break, I finally get to go fish a friend's pond with my dad and brother tomorrow ;D
  4. So I'm going to be chasing after some Current River smallies this weekend, and since this is my first time fishing for smallmouth, I have no idea what I'm going to throw. Will my normal spinners, cranks, jerkbaits, and worms work or is there anything specific that they really like?
  5. St. Louis, MO here...Lake of Egypt is the only decent lake thats reasonably close, and its two hours away
  6. In the photo in the article, it looks like he's got a Daiwa TD Sol...pretty easy to spot since its bright orange. I imagine he uses that for flippin and pitchin too. He's sponsored by Daiwa, Ranger, Dick's Sporting goods, and Yamaha...so I have no clue what kind of rod he fishes.
