  1. Braid is not expensive to use. Maybe more expensive to purchase but much cheaper over the long run. Buy some power pro 65lb, learn to tie a palomar knot, buy some superline hooks and prepare to get anything you hook out of anywhere it lives. You will break your rod and your arm before breaking the power pro.
  2. There should be a temperature sensor in your air handler. In heat pump mode your condensor unit (outside) will run for a few minutes before the temp rises enough for the evaporator fan (inside) kicks on and it will run for a few minutes after the outside kicks off. If you smell something burning, that means your heat strips have kicked in and is burning the dust off and the fan should follow shortly.
  3. I use iGoogle as my home page and have the moon gadget on the top. Or you can go here.. http://sports.espn.go.com/outdoors/bassmaster/fishingtips/news/story?page=bass_solunar
  4. Good job. Like your 7 year old, my 12 year old Taylor is killing us this month with minnows.
  5. Tuesday morning is forecast to be in the uppper 40's at sunrise, with the highs going back to the low 80's for the weekend. Finally some great fall fishing weather.

It's from the spider bite. I have been bitten by a brown recluse twice and both times there were weeks of weird feelings and bizarre dreams.
  7. They are 100% accurate at predicting when the moon will be full. ;D
  8. Muddy, That was Fort Mantanzas in St Augustine, we spent a weekend in Aug on the east coast.
  9. Some of our stuff from the last year or so... http://s232.photobucket.com/albums/ee31/leeh1210/?albumview=slideshow
  10. I was hoping to go, but, the boat is in the shop.
  11. Not a horrible band but "Pour Some Sugar on Me" is the stupid song that gets stuck in my head. PS it was 87* today and I had to mow the grass...and I talked to warmer today to decide which tourneys we were going to fish in January
  12. I like a few depending on the type of cover. If I'm flippin heavy grass or hydrilla I'll use a gambler crawdaddy or ugly otter t-rigged. If it's pads or sparse grass I like a jig or boogee bait with a big trailer. The last two don't catch a lot of fish but they are consistent big fish producers.
  13. My best fight was the 8 lber in my avatar. 7' med fenwick with 12 lb big game and BPS tourney special. I had a Super Spook tied on and had made about a 40 yd cast. She hit it on the first twitch and the fight was on. I did my best to keep her down but she came out of the water 4 times trying to shake the hooks. I would have made a classic video. I still get the chills thinking about it.

  17. I'll take you but you have to wear a UF hat while you are in the boat.
  18. The difference is the maps that are available. I have a garmin and I wish I had bought a lowrance. There are more choices and higher quality maps written for lowrance.
  19. I have 4 cats (don't ask how I wound up with that many) and would never do anything to them...my dad, on the other hand, prefers antifreeze in small saucers for pest control.

Did you take your medication today, Sam?
  21. The crazy thing is we would have been more than happy with 81 wins this year. Unbelievable, I hope they don't tighten up.

  24. The kids were out of school today so I took the day off and Taylor and I headed to Camp Mack with a supply of *** and bucket of minnows. The totals for today were 8 bass on strokin toads and 5" junebug trick sticks, 2 bream and 23 specks on minnows. The biggest bass was about 2.5 lbs Taylor being goofy with some specks...
