  1. OK guys, a bunch of us put down goals for 08 (go back to page 30 something). How are ya'll doing. I received my invite to the ABA regionals in the mail today to complete my 4 goals. The power of writing down goals never ceases to amaze me..
  2. First of all, DONT DO IT, the bait monkey will get you.... But if you must, check out the ABA for a local divisionl. It is relatively inexpensive and I have had nothing but good times with them...
  3. unplug the boat BEFORE leaving on that early morning trip. I have done this so many time the wife thought it was photo worthy.......
  4. That would be Captain of the Short Bus, Mr Fluke.
  5. Good job skippy. That is what life is all about.
  6. Just for the record nobody missed your out of focus pictures, geezer shades and your generally poor attitude. And we are definitely not glad you are back!
  7. I read somewhere, maybe the FWC website, that the stickmarsh/farm 13 had a total fish biomass of 800 lbs per acre with bass making up 30-35 % of that.
  8. I have not been to Toho in over a month. I normally fish in Hatch or Kissimmee. Check with warmer, I think he went last week.
  9. They should be outside deep grass lines.....somebody needs to tell the K bass that though.

Welcome Aboard! There is a whole section of articles for beginners. Read them. They helped me tremendously last year and I still reread them from time to time.
  11. It is a big club. I fished it last year but did not fish this year because of time constraints. We averaged 30-35 boats a month last year with probably 25-30 non-boaters.
  12. What kind of mold is that frog? I'll buy a few bags if your selling.
  13. Nothing you say or do is going to be beneficial. Let it go.

No more drinking before fishing for Gary...........
  18. Toho is at 53.5, close to normal pool elevation for this time of year and only 1.5 ft below max pool. here is a link to most of the major lakes in fl. http://www.lakelandbassmasters.org/LakeLevels.php
  19. After hosting 2 events this year I was suprised to see zero events scheduled for 09 and 10. Anyone have an idea as to why?
  20. Last sunday in the rain throwing a zara spook produced several like this one
  21. The canal is accessible from W Toho almost to E Toho but unless you pull a James Bond and fly over the flood control structure the answer is NO. http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=28.265361,-81.310705&spn=0.00258,0.005558&t=h&z=18
  22. I would go in a different direction...either a BIG 10" ribbon tail worm or topwater ( zara spook) in the evenings. We have been getting a lot of rain as well and the big fish have been eating well the last few weeks

Dude you are going to get hammered.......Welcome to the forum..and it's your right to keep the fish you catch, but I would not show them... And, were you fishing by yourself? What is the legal limit on bass in NY?
  24. Nicole and I hit the water last night for a few hours and the evening could not have been better...... Nicole boated 4 and I only had 2 but this was a nice one
  25. Check with the tournament director before you take off. I was in a tounament last month out of Lake Cypress. I was on the south end of Kissimmee when I saw the clouds moving in, so I moved to Hatch and only made 1 pitch when I saw lightning. Pack it UP......I was back at the ramp in Cypress before the rain started...at 1:30 with a 3:30 weigh in. Watched one of the worst thunderstorms of my life from the comfort of the resturant. Be carefull, go home, live to fish another day....
