worst fishing conditions
Yep same here. Its hard to explain to friends up north that the fish are not biting because of a cold front. They then ask how cold it is (florida), and you say 70-75 degrees. ;D But its true, espcially in the shallow lake I fish.

photos ?
Front or back seat depending where the sun is with the timer feature... Though, I about had a heart attack one time, watching my camera slide off the front seat pad unto the deck.

Whats the "tap tap"?
Down here in Florida with a plastic worm, if you set the worm after the tap, you'll be reeling in water. You have to wait till you feel the weight of the fish before the hook set.

Jiggin, my new goal
Yea, I keep trying to force myself to learn the jig. Never have much patience with it. I need to fish it for a couple of weeks and leave all the other baits at home. I think I maybe caught one fish in my lifetime on a jig.

Dredge Pipe structure
I live on a natural lake that is going thru a dredging process. The lake has hydrilla, eelgrass, lilypads everywhere, but most my fish are coming off these pipes that are above and submerged on the lake. I'm amazed with all the vegetation that they are hanging around these pipes.

Lunker Bass
Lunker= any fish that I lost due to old line, bad knot, lazy hook set. ;D

What Category Are You In?
hmm, good question,I guess Lake fisherman. My lake is a weedy natural lake and I don't see the bass moving due to patterns too much, unless they move up into the canals. Most of the time I can find them in the holes, that I found them months ago. Rather than pattern, or fishing same holes, I like breaking the lake down to sections and fish that section for a few weeks no run and gunning. I don't get flustered if I don't get a bite, I just log it on a map, or vice versa if I find a good spot. I go back to the hot spots once a month to see if their still there or if i have friends along and run and gun the good spots. If I fished numerous lakes, I would definitly pattern fish, but as stated I really haven't noticed the fish on my lake moving due to seasons, weather etc.

Whats a better day on the Water???? POLL
Had that scenario the last two days. First day, caught one 4-5 pounder, then yesterday caught 7 little ones. Gotta say I like catching the little ones better, just for the fact that i thought each time the lunker was coming.

Deeper water structure
Make sure your getting the crankbait deep enough. Lower the rod tip in the water (ie. David Fritts) if you have too, and always add a few more feet to the manufacturers depth spec for that specific bait. If anything you should be able to bump into something and if no bite, throw a soft bait in the structured area.

Number of Licenses
My stepdad once had four licenses in his possession when the game warden stopped us. Naturally, my stepdad couldn't find the one required (our home state). The Warden just laughed and said if you're carrying that many your bound to be telling the truth. ;D

Which do you enjoy more???

Educational
Try to find out what bait works best in your lake/pond. Sometimes other fisherman protect their disclosure of lures like the pentagon, but you should be able to get some info from a local bait shop. Stick to that lure/bait and leave all other lures at home. Just change colors, sizes etc. By sticking to the lure, get a good feel of how to fish it, before trying other things. I have problems with feel on a spinning reel. If you know how to use a baitcaster, keep a finger under the line when reeling in learning to distinguish the feel of weeds, logs, bottom of the lake. If your using a crankbait hooking is easier, but I had to learn how to use worms, soft baits, so getting a feel of a bite takes time. If its a bass most of the time, you'll feel a tick and then a tug. Wait till you feel the bass tugging on the end of the line then set the hook and keep the line tight. Lastly, slow down.
