  3. i appreciate this thread. i bought several packs of these a while back and some weighted hooks to go with 'em. i kept the receipt though fearing these baits were more hype than anything else, especially given the cost. haven't taken 'em out of the pack yet. now after reading this, i probably won't. back to the store they go. thanks y'all for keeping it real and telling it how it really is. ;D

    those are good 'uns matt. great pic too. i've just gotta start playing around with swimbaits more. btw, i pm'd ya a couple of questions. did you get that? although these fish are just another day at the office for you, they're awesome to the rest of us. congrats.

  22. i haven't gotten to go fishin' a lot lately. > work schedule has been pretty tough this week. but i'm really looking forward to next week when i get to fish with 2 new buddies. talking to those guys has really got me pumped to go. today, i decided i just couldn't take it any more and i had to go after a good 'un, one way or another. i went to one of my spots at lunch today and got this nice one. hopefully, this will be a taste of things to come next week. here's to new friends. hope y'all are catchin' some too.
