Good choices.. I TEVO. most of the shows now since i am usuly on the lake when they air! I did happen to get a really interesting show on the history of Bassmasters Clasics. The first one i saw was with the 1984 clasic and i saw that thier are a few more to air over the next two weeks. Although not so much on tecniqe, its a nice summery of years past and how our sport has evolved over the last 20-30 years.

no harm in keeping a fish once in a while to remind you how much of a pain in the but it is to have rottin fish smell in your garage!

My dad and I were fishing buzz baits and catchin lots of small fish when he got hung up in a tree.. I guess he bumped a stump with the trolling motor when we went to retrive his buzz bait, About a 3 to 3.5 lbs bass jumped right into the bottom of the boat!!!... biggest fish we boated all day!!

any one else have fridays off? i am working mon through thurs. and need to find a fishing partner for fridays... plan on going some where evry week so if any one wants to fish, hit me up!! and hey dink when is the next washington co. tourny?

well i agree it happens when you least expect it... about 10 yrs ago I was on a small lake in il. we used to beat up after school.. it happend when i got tired of beating the banks with jig and pork and i just wanted to cast somthing for a while to break up the monotony. I tied on the big nasty, crawdad collered crankbait my dad gave me while swearing it was a bass slayer, I new he was just getting rid of his old junk! I made a few long cast parrellel to the bank and just as i came acrossed an old cottonwood tree in the water I hooked the biggest bass i had ever seen!!! it was around 7 lbs... and i was about to %$#* a brick. It was mid winter and just a nasty day to be on the water but I just couldint leave after than so we fished on about a quarter mile down the bank and i agian was geting board knowing that the days highlight had come and gone... i hooked another monster about the same size!!!! my dad and dink just happened to see jammes and I being pulled around the lake in my little plastic boat and came over to see the fish. Not only did i catch my two biggest fish that day I got to do it in front of my dad and my two best friends!! We still tell the story on cold winter days when the winter wind is goin right threw you. Remember that day when.......

I have been OUT of bass fishing for some time due to army, school and work obligations... Now I am back with an uncontrolable urge to learn evrything i seem to have forgotten over tha last few years... I have learned alot from my friend dink who set me up with a profile here and gave me the site orentation the other day... I have to say I thought i was pretty smart when it came to fishing, I can usully do well on the water, BOY WAS I WRONG!! But i guess i was and this is the place to learn. ... I dig the site and all the info on here... and I will be reading evry night.. So thanks for the info and tips... and thanks dink for all the help!!

I may fish a few of the tournaments but it looks like a few are on the same weekend that i have my son.... one more reason to hate X Wifes...!! hope we get some rain this year! >

well i remember a few years ago Wallmart and K- maert used to have a great variety of pork. Last week I went to Walmart and bought the last two jars of black and blue they had, actually it was the only color they were carrying. what happend to the lure selaction in the supper stores? seemes if you want to buy anything other than five doller spinner baits you have to order them from bass pro....
