SuskyDude, I fish the susquehanna river near sunbury on a regular basis and was wondering what types of lures you would suggest using right now in shallow water with some current. The water is so warm and shallow right now and I have seen a good amount of smallies hanging out in shallow areas with some current but I'm not sure what to throw at them.

Are boats allowed on Middle Creek Lake? I have a 16 ft. bass boat with a 40 hp motor.

Thanks a lot for the info Nate! Yeah I have also heard many local anglers talking about the issue at Walker Lake. I haven't fished there for several years but whenever I did I usually caught some nice ones. I just got off the Susquehanna a little bit ago and only caught 1 smallie, there were tons of boats out and the fish seem to have hit the deeper water. I'm looking forward to the action heating up again in the fall on the river, love catching them big smallies!

I live in Lewisburg PA and was wondering if anyone could tell me what lakes are nearby that I can fish. I normally fish the river but would much rather fish lakes, the boat traffic on my part of the susquehanna makes it very hard to fish this time of year.

Awesome man! I wish someone would turn the bite on here in PA, been out a few times but no luck. Temperatures are gonna be in the low 70's here the next 2 days so hopefully I can get some bites.

I fish from an aluminum boat in the susquehanna river whenever I get the chance, was wondering if anyone has any advice for fishing the area between lewisburg and the sunbury dam. I catch some smallies in this stretch of the river each year but not very many at all, help me please!!!
