As for backing the trailer try this. Get one of those flags the kids use on their bikes. (one of those red flags with the long pole) Place this in a removeble holder on the drivers side back end of the trailer. This way it will be taller that the back of your truck bed and you will be able to see the pole and know where the corner of the trailer is. As for fighting the wind. Try a sea anchor a five gallon bucket with a piece of floating material mounted to the inside. Only enough to get the bucket to stay slightly on the surface of the water and a rope. Or you can get a real one from Bass Pro or Cabelas Just thoughts that may help w4svc aka Vic Tight lines and good Fishing

Well the bait monkey hit hard this weekend. Had to hit both Bass pro shops the one in Independence and Overland Park. Just had to see the one in Indep. then had dinner at OP needless to say the items I passed up the first time ended up in the kart at the second stop. The wife had to drag me away from the 170 Tracker on display more than once :-( When we get a date set I'm ready. Plenty of lures to choose from.

Nice boat but I would not expect much. Around my area the boat and trailer may bring 300 to 400 as for the motor with the missing skeage and age of it you may get 200 -250 if you find someone that really wants it. Good luck

Well with the forecast I see for the Bone Creek area having a high of 37 not the best for fishing. Let us pick another weekend for the meet. I was thinking possibly the 22 of March how does this work for everyone?

The only problem with switching now is at Bone Creek we have the ok from the Bone Creek contact at KDWP. As long as we follow the guidelines we don't need a bass pass. With time so short we may want to stay with Bone Creek And plan another event while there Vic

Well first off.. Never caught a bass on the Missouri. They should be there with all the lakes and rivers that feed the Missouri. I have fished the Missouri from the bank many times in the past 20 years only comming up with small cats and a sturgeon now and then. I've taken my 14 ft jon with a 15 horse with two adults and teen and it ran up the river just fine. We fished all day drifting back to the ramp without any bites. We did work some of the holes along the way without any luck. w4svc aka vic
