You know I am not sure what I would use it for. I guess my question is what techniques do you use them for? Are the durable? Smooth? Do you recommend?

Does anyone have experience with the Scorpion 1000 XT? I am able to get a good deal on one, but I don't really know much about them or if it's a quality reel. Just looking for some guidance. Thanks!

Anyone have any experience with the daiwa fuego? I was looking at getting one but I am having trouble finding reviews on it. Just curious on what people thought of it.

I have been using yo-zuri ultra soft for about 8-10 years on my spinning reel. It's becoming difficult to find. I generally only fish in a small river. It's shallow 2-5 feet so I just wade it. I only use one rod for all techniques. Small cranks, soft plastics, and in-line spinners. I need some recommendations on a line that is manageable and able to do most techniques well. Thanks for your input.

What are the thoughts about these rods? How do they compare to other rods in that price range? I am looking at the MBR783C specifically.

Well I am going to be using it for all kinds of applications. Crankbaits, spinner, plastics, maybe some topwater. I really just want a all around set up.

This will be my first time using a baitcaster. I want to get a rod and reel for around or under $200. Keep in mind that its for a newbie. It doesn't necessarily have to be a "combo".

I am going to be visiting my sister soon. She lives in Oklahoma near, Oklahoma City. Does anybody know of any rivers I could wade for smallmouth near that area?

This is exactly what is happening to me in my river. Tons of hits but not very many hook ups on my buzz bait.

When a fish hits the buzzbait, are you supposed to stop reeling and let him take it, or just continue reeling? This is the first year I have used buzzbaits. I am getting alot of hits but they must me short striking it.

My problem is I cant find any Yo-Zuri Ultra Soft anywhere. I hate ordering it from cabelas and getting charged a ton for slow shipping.
