  1. Buck's graphite jig pole 12' long. how would this be as a fnf rod ? thanks, dennis
  2. 8 # flouro with a #1 gamma dropshot hook thanks, dennis
  3. when tying a polamar knot with a small hook eye - whats the easiest way to get the doubled line through the eye ? thanks, dennis
  4. i just bought several of these baits. i'm very impressed with the quality vs. the price. my question is - is the finish very durable or do i need to clearcoat the finish in order to make it last ? and do they usually run true out of the box or will i have to do some therapy on them ? thanks, dennis

any body ever used any of these lures ? i seen some that are lighted when submersed in water. seemed cheap enough. thanks, dennis
  6. rwhusker, i'll take it for the price of shipping. just let me know. dennis
  7. tuning doesn't help at all. neither does ballast weights. and if you reel slow enough to track semi straight, the lures have absolutely no action (wiggle). MATZUO IS JUNK !!! thanks guys, dennis
  8. i've just bought 3 matzuo america nano crank crankbaits and none of the 3 will track right. they will run on their side or will do loop de loops, or try to run on top of the water. large amounts of splitshot on the line helps, but you must crank very slowly. i have tried 4,6, and 8 lb. test with and without a swivel. any suggestions ??? thanks, dennis
  9. i have an older mitchell spidercast retractable butt baitcasting rod. the specs are as follows: model # SC76FPT 7 1/2 ' flipping / pitching lure wt. 1/4 - 2 oz. line wt. mono - 15 -30 lb. superline - 10/50 lb. it says spectra composite. is that graphite or glass, both / neither ? it's not rated, would it be a medium heavy or a heavy ? i am thinking about selling it and was wondering if it had any value or is it just another fishing rod ? thanks, dennis
