Have owned and fished out of a 16' Xpress since 2002. Love it. fish places the glass boat boys won't go. My only complaint is that there is no dealer close by. Have always called direct to factory if iI had a ?? or needed to buy something for the boat. They have been great. If I didnit buy an Xpress I would look at an Alweld boat. Have owned and fished out of an Xpress for 6 years now . I go where most glass boys wont go espiaclly in the spring. My fishing partner has a glass (ranger) is more comfortable of a ride and better in the wind but he wont take it back where the BIG Ones hide. We fish 90% of the time out of my boat. Also gas milage is much better running the boat and towing it. If you are going to fish for pleasure and not tourney I would go with a tin boat again Let Em Live

Sluggo, Make trip every year around that time. Always do real well with shallow crankbaits on main lake points and when the su gets up high go to baby brush hogs and senkos on secondary points and around any wood. Also check the back of the first or second creek arms on the largher bays. Good luck Let Em Live
