  1. The thread is getting out of hand. Please refer to official sites. Bickering on a fishing site isn't very productive.
  2. I picked up 90 days worth of insulin. I’m set. I need that more than TP.
  3. That… and a few more things
  4. Most people will be fine. Staying put, and minimizing contact may save the life of someone at risk. FL has 31 cases. MN has 10. I'm in NY, we have 325. Glenn is in WA, with 457. You can check your states numbers and get a ton of info over here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/cases-in-us.html The site has been getting updates every afternoon.
  5. Toilet paper is apparently the last thing anyone wants to run out of in case of lengthy quarantine.
  6. Sub $2 gas! Fill up the boat.
  7. If you get an answer, you got bigger problems than COVID-19.
  8. I've been using Invisx for years. In the past few, I've switched to Tatsu. I'm also using Seaguar Finesse. It's very close to Tatsu.
  9. The only difference is the open container laws are not the same for boats.
  10. TP, bottled water, canned goods, pasta, rice, hand sanitizer, and various surface cleaners are in short supply. Facebook is not in short supply of pictures depicting empty shelves with stupid captions.
  11. I think the mortality rate will go down with more testing results, because certainly there are many undetected cases. I do not think that it will drop below the flu. Unless we are speaking about ourselves, and our own health, or someone close to us, I'm not sure where age fits. Can I even say "okay boomer" when grandma gets a cold? Like I said before, no reason to panic, but no reason to be foolish either. Ever run out?
  12. Overall, I've read it's much lower, like .05 to .06%. Whatever was reported a few days ago in raw numbers makes this more than 80 times as fatal as the flu. Seems simple enough to cancel things that could promote the spread of it. I don't see that as panic or knee-jerk. Seems smart. Bummer about your Knicks tickets, but.... I feel bad for all those that work in industries that will be deeply affected. There will be closures and layoffs.
  13. Organizing your tackle goes way further than some list of what you have. I opened my terminal tackle box, and visually, I could see I needed 4/0 worm hooks and some flipping weights. Pretty simple.
  14. Seems like it is easy enough to just ask the attendant before launching.
  15. So, probably a good idea to take action earlier, to prevent a similar outcome.
  16. What I said still holds. The only line I use that would be called nylon mono is Rippin'. The rest fall into other categories. It's irrelevant, since Rippin' was discontinued. I'll be hoarding my stash in a cool, dry, dark place. When it runs out, I'll probably go back to Sufix. For bass fishing, I'll continue to use fluoro and braid.
  17. Most nylon mono lines are co or multi polymers.
  18. We have DEC, Sheriff, USCG, and ICE patrolling our waters. The Sheriffs actually set up speed traps in speed restricted areas. Ask me how I know.
  19. In NY, a boat is a motor vehicle, and the DWI laws apply to operating a motor boat the same as operating a car. You're more likely to be pulled over driving a car in a lake, or a boat on the highway. Just saying.
  20. The only line I use that could be considered "nylon mono" is Seaguar Rippin' mono, and I don't use it for bass. I'd put it right there next to Sufix. Both are great lines.
  21. Up here, if you are parked in the lot, you pay the launch fee.
