  1. so i got a fun question. If you could only pick one bass fishing lure to use for the rest of your life what would it be ??? ONLY ONE, TO USE ALL YEAR EVERYWERE YOY FISHED< FOREVER, !! what would it be, what color(s)? what size? and why????
  2. i found that wood palets work great, i use three and wire them up to look like a triangle. and add 2 foundation block, trust me 1 dosen't work, just makes a nasty floating hazard for boat to run into. i work for the ky. fish and wildlife. and every spring we put out thousands of christmas trees that we get from a local tree farm, we drill 1.5" holes in the base and tie a rope to the tree and concrete block it works well. but this is mainly used for crappie and bait fish, but were there is bait fish there are bass. also water willows work great for bass, they attract bass within days but after about 2 months they sour and the bass will leave for about 3-6 months.

  4. hello everyone, i am a 27 year old who caught the bass bug long ago. My dad had me casting for bass when most my age were getting there first snoopy pole. My dads passion for bass fishing has helped me through the years, when others my age were wild and up to no good my dad and i were spending long nights and evenings bass fishing and tournament fishing. So here is the deal my dad has fished the same ol lake for 30 years, it isn't known for large bass my personal best is around 8 pounds, ( i caught trolling for muskie) . and his around 5.5 -6 pounds and at this lake when fish of this size are caught its something to be proud of. So i was wanting to plan a trip for my dad and i to go to guntersville since we live in centrel ky. its not that long of a trip. I was wanting to good advice on the best time of year to go for fun all day action and maybe my dad will up his personal best. maybe some ideas on hot lures and colors for that lake and just any info that might help. my dad has lung cancer and its hard on him to fish hot weather and humid days so maybe a good time in the spring before spawn. any info would be great thanks
  5. i have fished night time bass for many many years, on my local lake when fishing tournaments the pressure is so bad that you can forget about bank fishing form june this sept. so i fish off shore humps and main lake points. i live and love the chomper super sinker 5" in black blue flake on a carlina rig. the bait has so much smell that my dad can tell when im useing one in the back of the boat. o yea got to love the black jitterbug.... nothing like blurp....... blurp......... blurp.........BAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. hello, i am a new member to this forum and life long bass fisherman. I have a question. I have fished my local lake for 13 years now and in the past 4 years the eurasian milfoil has took over. i can catch bass on top of and around the edges, but in the summer time i believe that the bass hunker down bellow or inside of it, and if you guys now the milfoil im talking about theres nothing that will go threw it. i have tried a 1 ounce and larger jig in it with no luck but i might not have the paitents yet for that. any ideas what would be a good presentation for this? thanks
