I caught my first Smallmouth off a pier on Lake Huron. I caught it in about 8ft of water on an x-rap 10.

I went on the Huron River today and got a number of bass and a carp. I managed to forget my camera. :'(

How can I set the drag on my spinning reel with out a scale?

I went out today on the Huron River for about an hour and a half. I got skunked The wind didn't help.

I'm planning on fishing the Huron River Saturday. Has anyone else ever fished it?

This may sound like a stupid question, but how do you weigh a fish on a scale like this? for blue gilll I use a #8 hook and around 1-2 inches of worm.
