There is no better gift you can give your son than the love of fishing. I cherish everday I get to spend on the water with my boy.

Went back down to the Delta Saturday. Water temp was 62 and stained. The wind was pretty strong but we managed to put 17 keepers in the boat. My best was about 5 and my son got his 1st of the year. We caught them on Rat L Traps and Bomber Flat As.

Bass fishing - year round sport
It seems to just depend what part of the country you fish and so forth. Out here for the most part I feel I can catch a bass almost everyday of the year.

Excellent post and information Mr. Lusk. Look forward to learning more from you.

If you could start over...
I would have fished more of a variety of water. I started seriously fishing in the California Delta and up until a couple years ago did I start fishing lakes.

Elias v. Monroe
You got that right. And Aaron Martens has won a BASS event before, he just comes in 2nd at the Classic a lot. Aaron won the Duel on the Delta last year. He also has over a million in career earnings.

Elias v. Monroe
The funny thing about this thread is that while a heavy majority of us said it was God's water and belonged to nobody, there isn't one of us who fishes tournaments that wouldn't get a little pissy if someone pulled right up on our spot. 8-)
