  1. I have some contacts in Birmingham I'll see what I can find out. I am looking forward to meeting everyone.
  2. What usually works well for me is line tamer on a soft cloth while your spooling line. Spray the cloth down with line tamer and spool line through the cloth.
  3. In my experience I found the better the equipment the easier it is to learn. Try to buy the best equipment you can afford.
  4. I was at the Classic this year and it was very exciting. The object is to promote the sport of Bass fishing but also have good television. It is so exciting to sit there and think someone sitting back there could have a big bag of fish and could leap past 10 or 12 people to take the lead. In places like Pittsburgh it just couldn't happen. Not like the southern states.
  5. I am from Kawkawlin. Just north of Bay City. This is our second season fishing bass seriously. We joined the NBAA this year as well as a couple Bass Clubs. We will be fishing Secord, Sugar Springs, Wixom and Sanford Lakes this season. Any advice?

Is any one familiar with V & M Tackle? I purchased a bunch of beavers, 11 inch worms and tubes from them at the Classic last weekend. The stuff looks great and was very affordable. Anyone used them?
  8. Can you tell me at what water temp largemouth spawn at?
  9. My son littlefisher has just introduced me to the web site. I wish I would have known about you guys before I came down to the Classic on Thursday. We spent the days at the expo but I would have loved going out on the lake one time just to check it out. I had so much fun that I am already planning to attend next year.
