  2. Welcome. I fish Newton at least once a week!
  3. I also bought a bag and tried them with no succses. The bite was very slow that day though. But the action is great I think they will have a place in the boat and be a winner on a better day. Would like to hear some comments on how they hold up from some of you that have caught some fish on them.
  4. A frog will swim under water when you spook them off the bank, so yes I would say that it is natural. Never thought about swiming one under the surface. How deep was your frog running when the bass hit it?

Im afraid the bait monkeys gonna bite me!! Watched the video and these babys look fun!!!!!!!!
  6. Looked at some rage tail shad today. Lake that I fish is loaded with shad and was wondering about throwing some of these. How do you boys use them, t-rig, swim or??
  7. If all I could use was a Senko it would be a short trip. They dont last very long but it would be a short and sweet trip!
  8. Didnt say that I thought the water temp dropped that much. I will be on TWO different lakes. Power plant lake would not have dropped much, I fished it last weekend and know what the temp was on it. As far as the other lake it was just a guess, a hopefull guess. The low 40s might be more like it. Will know for sure at 7 am tomorrow.
  9. My area has received 5-6 inches of rain the past 2 days. Going to fish Friday and Saturday, im afraid the waters gonna be a kinda like choclate. My ? being, what color and type of lures should I chunk at'em? Water temp. before rain ranged from 60-75 on this 1700 acre cooling lake. Havent been out on the second lake that we will be on, think it is in the 800-900 acre range. Not sure on temp. gonna guess mid 40s-50s. Any suggestions besides depth charges would be appreciated!! 10. Good ole dad usally has better sense than me too.
  11. 14 keepers I would dump the anchors and pulled my hat down tighter if I was in'em like that!!!!!
  12. I wore out both ends and started bitin it back. Ended up with a Senko shorty that didnt have enough meat left to keep a point hiden!
  13. Dont have any Fat Ika's. Do they look like Senkos? Always wilin to try something else.
  14. Today is my first post and I also fished with my first Senko today. Fished a power plant cooling lake today, thru spinners with limited success, cranks with nothing. Put on a Senko that I had picked up a few weeks back after reading about everybodys success on here with them. Threw a sweet beaver for a good while with alot a light taps and one hook up that broke my line. d**n IT! Was about fished out when I put on a Senko t-rigged started flippin into submerged tree tops and started jerkin out some fish!!!! All were dinkers but was better than nuthin. Fish were nailin the Senko hard, unlike they hit most worms in this lake. One thing I dont like about this worm is that it goes to hell fast. Need to get some Tiki Sticks and see if they will hold up any better yet still put them in the boat.
