Hey everyone I'm new here on BR. Been looking around and you have a great site. I've been bass fishing for 25 years or so. I am definitely addicted. I've been fishing some local club tourneys for the past 5 years and expect to start fishing in some more regional stuff in the coming year. Winter circuit at Lake of Egypt starts in Oct. Plan on fishing some at Newton, Rend Lake, Forbes and Crab Orchard just to name a few. Anyhow thanks for letting me get my feet wet and fish on.

Welcome Aboard, you have some fine lakes to fish down south. Been wanting to get to Newton, some say the next state record may come from there.

Nice to have another fellow Southern IL resident here. I'm in Carterville IL an usually fish Little Grassy plus many of the refuge ponds that have some HUGE bass. I look forward to reading your posts.

Thanks  everyone. Nice to see a lot of members nearby. You guys down in cape and Paducah need to give Lake of Egypt a shot. Great fishery. Newton is awesome too. I've also heard DNR is saying the state record could come from there. I know it was taking 33 pounds in some tournaments last year to win. That's a sack!!!! Look forward to talking with you all, thanks again.
